Ravilious... Hand dyeing the outer cover.

New book.... Maroc ... Les tresors du royaume.



Lino cut end papers, rich colours and thick, oil based ink.




The lino cut measures 60cm x 60cm.




The individual prints were printed in 4 separate colours with each impression being rotated 90 degrees from the previous.




Finally an off set print was taken from the original...... next sewing.

Ravilious... Sanding sanding sanding.



After some time in the think tank Ravilious has returned to the bench.
The spine is mage up of Swiss Roll leather, the boards have been edged in hand dyed calf and in-filled. Now for the perfect finish before the last layer of hand coloured paper is applied.

Jan Sabota

It is with sadness that I have heard that Jan Sabota passed away yesterday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
